00:09loads of shops and you always feel welcome by either the people who run the business

00:15and there's always something new you would like to buy. You won't even like it yourself

00:21but you've just got to have it because it looks so nice, it's lovely, it's quite enjoyable.

00:34I went last year to Meadow Hall and got some gifts for some people, got something custom

00:40engraved, one of the shops down there for someone, very nice, I think it's very nice,

00:44very big down there.

00:46Where do you think the best place is to go Christmas shopping in Sheffield?

00:50For me, Atkinson's, Marks and Spencer's and charity shops.

00:59No, whatever catches my eye.

01:05It used to be Fargate, now what's happened to Fargate I don't know,

01:09we've just come up through the moor and it looks as though it's starting to do that

01:13and the Peace Gardens, that's basically it isn't it in Sheffield?

01:18So where would you go?

01:19I'd go to Peace Gardens and we used to go to Fargate.

01:23For Christmas shopping?

01:24And this place here, it's gone, John Lewis, Debenhams has gone, we used to go shopping

01:29to those places, then come up and go and have a couple of beers.

01:33Where would you go now then, a particular shop?

01:36Well we're just wandering now aren't we?

01:38We've just been to Atkinson's actually, that's the last Sheffield one basically,

01:43a big shop isn't it?

01:45But Atkinson's has been here for a few years hasn't it?

01:48It was here during war so it'll still be here next war, keep it that way.
