00:23the way you'd expect — lots of navy blue suits and red ties. But Ivanka stood out like a sore
00:27thumb in a brilliant blue velvet pantsuit. Election Day is visually grounded in the
00:31battle between blue and red. Each color is representative of one of the two dominant
00:35political parties, and the Republican ticket tends to feature all red all the time.
00:39In the past, Ivanka has gone the red route when stepping out to support her father,
00:43so this sudden switcheroo was definitely eye-opening. But it's also worth highlighting
00:47that it's a surprise she was even there at all. Since taking a step back from politics,
00:51she's been a no-show for the vast majority of Trump's 2024 campaign.

01:32The absence seems to have had a positive effect on the former first daughter. On her 43rd birthday,
01:37she posted a list of the lessons she learned in the four decades of her life,
01:41highlighting virtues like being peaceful, curious, and open-minded.
01:44And while it's no secret that Ivanka has some complicated feelings toward her father,
01:48she did at least show up to support him on November 5th.
01:51Page Six reported that Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, were among the guests at Mar-a-Lago
01:56on election night for the private watch party as the poll results trickled in. Do these recent
02:00appearances mean that Ivanka has changed her mind and is planning a return to the White House?

02:19In the end, Ivanka's decision to wear such an eye-catching shade of blue on election day of
02:24all days certainly wasn't a coincidence, although it may not have been a massive
02:27statement on Ivanka's part. If the world of politics is really as dark as Ivanka says,
02:31maybe she just felt like bringing some brighter colors into the night.
