पिथौरागढ़ : देवभूमि उत्तराखंड में उत्तरकाशी की अवैध मस्जिद का बवाल अभी थमा भी नहीं था कि कुमाऊं क्षेत्र के पिथौरागढ़ के बेरीनाग में अवैध मस्जिद को लेकर जनता का आक्रोश सड़कों पर देखने को मिला। बेरीनाग में अवैध मस्जिद को हटाने के लिए स्थानीय लोगों और हिंदूवादी संगठन ने जीआईसी मैदान तक विशाल रैली निकाली। पिछले दो माह से बेरीनाग में स्थानीय जनता मस्जिद हटाने की मांग कर रहे हैं, लेकिन प्रशासन की कार्यवाही से जनता संतुष्ट नहीं है। स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि जब यहां पर निर्माण कार्य हो रहा था प्रशासन को तभी इस पर कार्रवाई करनी चाहिए थी।
