A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a teenage boy in Sydney’s southwest. Jacob Grieg is accused of stabbing the teenager after an altercation on Friday night/early hours of Saturday morning.

01:28The magistrate denied the request for bail, describing the prosecution case as strong.
01:34He said if convicted, Jacob Greig faces many decades behind bars, with sounds of shock
01:41coming from his family in court.
01:43Mr Greig is due back in court in January.
