00:00Part two, hate speech and calls for violence. Is anti-Hindu hate being spread or is it actually
00:06anti-Sikh hate that's being spread? Let's look at what happened.
00:10November the 3rd afternoon. Later that same afternoon, a pro-India mob gathered again
00:16in the parking lot of the Mandir. This time, the gathering escalated to a disturbing level.
00:22Extremist hateful speeches were given, including one by a priest from the Mandir itself,
00:28openly calling for violence against the Sikh Canadian community.
00:45It's worth noting that in response, the Hindu Sabha Committee suspended this priest on November
00:515th because of this. But the hateful incitement didn't stop there. Far-right groups like the RSS
00:58and Shiv Sena were encouraging handing out swords and rods and urging the mob to attack Sikhs.
01:17Now, let's be clear. SFJ protesters never made this about religion.
01:23Their protest wasn't against Hindus and religion was never mentioned
01:27because they have nothing against the Hindu community. But what we're seeing here is clear
01:32evidence of anti-Sikh hate being spread. Pro-India extremists openly calling for violence against
01:39Sikhs. It's targeted discrimination against Sikhs. Their words and actions crossed a line
01:45into religious hatred, spreading anti-Sikh hate. Watch part three to see how this hate escalated
01:53later that evening.
