00:00I know you're going to talk about these international games, Mike, and I know, uh, I'm hearing that
00:08Ireland will happen and that, uh, the Roonies and the Steelers will be one of the teams
00:13playing, uh, that game.
00:15Oh, there's no doubt about it.
00:16And Goodell said that yesterday from Germany that, uh, I mean, he kind of made it sound
00:21like it was like 95% that it would, they were going to have an Ireland game.
00:25But one thing that is a hundred percent is that if they do, the Steelers will be in the
00:31Ireland game, uh, with the Rooney family and their history and what they want to do.
00:35Uh, so they say the AFC teams have the extra home game next year.
00:39I would think that you're going to see, you know, everyone's, my family has been a million
00:46times.
00:47They're from there.
00:48Everybody's from Ireland.
00:50I've never gone.
00:51They don't want me there.
00:52Well, and look, you never know.
00:54Maybe it'll be, and I don't think they would do this cause they usually don't put very
00:57marquee games in Ireland.
00:59But if we ever got Bill Steelers, uh, as the game in Ireland, you know, that would just
01:04be, and that Aviva, which is where they would play at the Aviva stadium, which is where
01:09the Irish national team plays.
01:11And they played the Irish Notre Dame games, uh, and the other college games in the preseason.
01:16Uh, it's a scene, uh, at that place.
01:18So it'd be a lot of fun.
01:19And I hope the NFL does go there.
01:21Now some of these other places I could probably do without, and I'm sure everyone else says
01:25that about Ireland.
01:26Why the hell are they going to play in Ireland?
01:27Well, you know what I say?
01:28Why the hell do we got to play in Spain and Brazil and Mexico city, uh, again, uh, next
01:33year.
01:34But they're going to go and do that.
01:35Germany, London, uh, eight international games in 2025, uh, which is what having home games
01:42in the NFL before, you know, it, well, listen, we we've said this for years.
01:46This is all part of their plan.
01:48They are trying to play.
01:50I saw someone say they want to try to make it so that there's 16 international games
01:55a year.
01:56And every team has to play one international game every year.
01:59That is their goal.
02:00I go forward.
02:01It concerns me is, is that like, I, you know, I'm a season ticket holder of the Steelers
02:05and it costs a lot of money and you know, you get eight or nine games and then you can
02:11slice one of those right off the list and you're paying all this money for these games.
02:16And I mean, they go up every year, the tickets, they go up every single year.
02:20I've never once not seen the price go up.
02:22And then what you're taking games away from us and giving them to Europe.
02:26I mean, who has the time or the money, honestly, to go to Europe for a Sunday morning, nine
02:3230 kick in the States.
02:34I mean, and then what you get on a plane and come back and go to work.
02:38Like if you're going to go, you got to turn it into a vacation, right?
02:42You got to just stay there for a few days and not come home, but right after the game
02:47and you got to pay through the nose for season tickets in the NFL in America and yet you're
02:51not getting to go to games.
02:55Yeah, I'm sure they don't charge you any less because they take one of those home games
02:58away. You're still as you're still paying the same bill, no matter what games this year.
03:04And I'm paying the same.
03:06I'm paying more than I did last year, as if I had nine last year.
03:11The price still went up and I got one last game.
03:13Now you're going to take another one away from me.
03:15Yeah, that's what that's.
03:17Well, next year they they technically have nine.
03:20So you're going to get eight, but they're going to charge you for nine, which is how it
03:24always works. It's amazing how it goes.
03:27But I would almost bet your bottom dollar the Steelers will be in Dublin at the Aviva in
03:322025 to go and play there.
