Cuba continues to monitor seismic activity after a Sunday day marked by strong earthquakes with epicenters in the southeastern part of the country, the two largest of magnitude 6.0 and 6.7. teleSUR

00:00In Cuba, the government remains vigilant after the earthquake of 6.7 magnitude that shook
00:16the southern coast of the island and other Caribbean nations on November 10th.
00:19Cuban authorities reported no fatalities, but at least seven people were injured, as
00:23well as damage to houses and streets.
00:25Likewise, the National Seismological Service said that about 885 aftershocks and more than
00:3136 reports of perceptible tremors were registered in the province of Granma.
00:35So far seismic activity continues to be monitored to identify any other similar phenomena.
00:40In Santiago de Cuba province, work and school activities were resumed as normal after the
00:45authorities confirmed safety conditions.
