WEIGHING 10,000lbs, this colossal Monster Truck is not for the faint-hearted. Meet ‘Fluffy’ – the stunt-performing powerhouse that boasts more than 1,400hp. Proud owner, Kevin King, recently fired up the big engine and managed to jump over a fire truck and TWO police cars in his latest trick. Kevin has become one of the most well-known independent drivers in the Monster Truck Industry. Drawing a big crowd at one of his events in Waycross, Georgia, Kevin wanted to pay tribute to their local services – and thankfully, no one was left disappointed. Kevin told FutureStudiosCars: “This truck, it’s a beast. It’s a race vehicle. So it’s really not a matter of if it breaks – it’s just when and how bad. With the stunt, we wanted to show our support for those guys, to salute our first responders. It landed real good and I was happy with it.” ‘Fluffy’ is powered by an impressive Chevy 565 engine. And Kevin is more than used to handling this sort of vehicle – known for his work with ‘Fluffy’ and another truck called ‘Strait Jacket’. “I’ve been doing this for so long now,” he said. “When we get into the truck, when we put that helmet on, there’s really no thought process. If you’re thinking about it all, you’re going to screw up. It’s just what we do.” And when discussing the name ‘Fluffy’, Kevin added: “A Monster Truck called ‘Fluffy’? “It’s like the manliest, toughest name in Monster Trucks!”

00:00The truck is a beast. The stunt that we're attempting today, there's a million things
00:05that could go wrong. It's a race vehicle, so it's really not a matter of if it breaks,
00:09it's winning how bad.
00:10Yeah, can you hear me?
00:11Yeah.
00:12Yeah.
00:13Thank you all for coming. We're getting fired up here in a minute and have some fun.
00:27In Waycross, Georgia, local celebrity Kevin King hosts a mega-monster party centered
00:34around his star vehicle.
00:36This is our Fluffy Monster Truck.
00:38Fluffy, for a monster truck?
00:41A monster truck called Fluffy. It's like the most manliest, toughest name in monster trucks.
00:46Today, Kevin and his gang are attempting a huge stunt in order to honor their local emergency
00:53services.
00:56The stunt that we're attempting today is we have a fire truck and a police car. We're
01:03planning on flying this 10,000-pound truck over the top of them.
01:07So this is where the fun begins.
01:11The truck is powered by a Chevy 565 engine, giving it a whopping 1,400 horsepower.
01:16We're trying to show our support for those guys, a salute to our first responders, and
01:23that's where we did this special body. We always do something crazy at this event.
01:30This stunt sure is wild and full of risk.
01:34There's a million things that could go wrong in this particular stunt. If the truck dies,
01:38if the truck shuts off or spits and sputters and crashes into a fire truck, that would
01:43not be cool. We could break a wheel off, we could crash, we could blow a motor up. It's
01:47a race vehicle, so it's really not a matter of if it breaks, it's just when and how bad.
01:52We prepare the truck the best we can and hope for the best.
01:57I've been doing this for so long. When we get in the truck, when we put that helmet
02:01on, there's really no thought process. You're thinking about it, you're going to screw up.
02:06It's all what you know, it's what we do.
02:10Nothing left but to go for it. How will this monster manage?
02:52The truck is a beast. It sucked it right up, it did what it did, it landed really good.
03:06I was happy with it.
03:10I love monster trucks because it symbolizes America. Ain't nothing better than a good
03:15old monster truck show.
