01:19If Metro Manila is hit, more than 1,400 barangays may be flooded, most of which are in Manila.

01:26The MGB's recommendation is to force evacuation to places where there is a high possibility of landslides.

01:32We don't have enough time to prepare for landslides.

01:39So if you are identified as high to very high susceptible barangay,

01:44you must enforce your preemptive evacuation.

01:48If the preemptive evacuation did not work, we will enforce the forced evacuation.

01:56The preemptive evacuation will start tomorrow in the areas affected by the Bagyong Pepito.

02:00It will be conducted in consultation, without compulsion, or mandatory evacuation.

02:05But if they choose to remain in spite of the threat, the Office of Civil Defense may not respond immediately if they need help.

02:13In all risky areas, they will be the first to be advised.

02:20If they are warned and advised, they should follow it.

02:26Because when emergencies occur, the first to be searched and rescued are the people who follow.

02:38In the next five days, more than 18 million may be affected.

02:42Almost a million of them are our poor countrymen.

02:45In the middle of the next typhoons, the Budget Department has already released

02:49P875 million added to the Social Welfare Department's Quick Response Fund.

02:55Half of the initial P1.75 billion allocated to emergencies has been spent on the recent typhoons.
