00:00Yesterday, the TikTok media platform gave a guarantee to investigate issues such as cyberbullying.
00:06So, from a communication point of view, what do you think?
00:10Yes, I welcome the statement or the results of the meeting between the Minister and the CEO of TikTok in Lima, Peru,
00:22which has been conveyed to TikTok to provide good cooperation to the MCMC and the Ministry of Communication
00:32in an effort to ensure a safer internet, including in the field of TikTok.
00:39In the issue of cyberbullying, we see that at the moment there are many cyberbullying activities.
00:47It is happening on several platforms, especially Facebook, TikTok, and Instagram.
00:54As for TikTok, I have not yet received a report showing the results,
01:02other than the statement of what they have done, the guarantee they have given to the Prime Minister.
01:08This is one of the reasons why we are standing on January 1, 2025,
01:16so that the use of the system or the regime of censorship for these social media platforms cannot be changed.
01:24If not, they will promise, but they will not do it.
