00:00Welcome to Mojo Plays and today we're looking at the 10 strongest outfits you can find in
00:12Black Myth Wukong.
00:13Be warned, there may be spoilers ahead and we're also ignoring the defense value since
00:18all sets will have roughly the same defense when fully upgraded.
00:30Before we begin, we publish new content all week long so be sure to subscribe and ring
00:35the bell to get notified about our latest videos.
00:38Yaksha Outrage Set
00:50Our first pick is for the Yaksha Outrage Set, craftable at any shrine after defeating the
00:54mischievous red boy.
00:55It could be the most stylish in the game, making the destined one look like a relative
00:59of the bull demon king himself.
01:01Its unique effect is to massively increase attack power when you're on low health, with
01:05the 2-piece bonus strengthening your pillar stance and the 4-piece bonus giving you 25%
01:10extra attack power.
01:19This comes with a price however, which is a 30% increase in damage taken, turning you
01:24into a glass cannon.
01:25It pairs wonderfully well with the Dark Iron Staff and can be one of the highest damage
01:29builds in the game.
01:36Ebon Gold Set
01:42Next is the 3-piece Ebon Gold Armor Set, which you can craft any time after defeating the
01:46Black Bear Gway, Chapter 1's final boss.
01:49Its leg piece has a nice unique effect, which gives a 10% damage boost to Cloudstep's unveiling
01:54strike.
02:03The 3-piece bonus also improves your Cloudstep, by creating a shrouding black wind that will
02:07attack enemies nearby you and your decoy during Cloudstep.
02:11Once upgraded to a mythic rarity, it gains an additional bonus, getting rid of the timer
02:15for your Cloudstep decoy.
02:16It's not the most amazing ability, but it's strong enough to be in our 10 favorites.
02:26Golden Set
02:34Once you've braved the New West and completed Chapter 3, you can craft the Golden Set at
02:38any shrine.
02:39The headpiece has a unique effect that grants massive focus when you successfully hit someone
02:42using a spirit skill.
02:44This combines amazingly well with the 2-piece bonus, which increases damage by 15% when
02:48you use a spirit skill or vessel.
02:58Its 4-piece bonus is where it shines, since it grants you Chi when you land a critical
03:02hit or defeat an opponent.
03:03The combo potential for this set is insane.
03:06For example, you can use the Plantain Fan Vessel and the Opanabat to completely freeze
03:10a boss.
03:19Iron Set
03:27The Iron Armor Set is completely focused on the Rock Solid spell, and gives you an excellent
03:31boost to your Rock Solid deflections.
03:33Defeating this hefty-looking set is unlocked after defeating the Yin Tiger in the Zodiac
03:37Village.
03:38The Iron Tuft Gauntlets have a unique effect, which gives you a significant damage boost
03:42to your next attack after a successful Rock Solid deflection.
03:53The 2-piece bonus improves the focus gain provided by the Nick of Time perk, then the
03:564-piece bonus reduces the Rock Solid cooldown upon a successful deflection.
04:00It's immensely powerful for Rock Solid users, but if it's not your preferred spell, give
04:05this set a miss.
04:13Bull King Set
04:23Inspired by the powerful deity, the Bull Demon King, once the sworn brother of Sun Wukong,
04:28the aesthetic of this armor is phenomenal.
04:30It's unlocked once you eliminate the Bishoi Golden-Eyed Beast, Chapter 5's secret boss.
04:35You will need to enter New Game Plus to acquire all the materials to craft it, but it's well
04:38worth the effort.
04:45The Mask lets you gain focus when taking damage, which is amplified when staggered.
04:49The 2-piece bonus grants defense when damaged, and the 4-piece disables the perfect dodge,
04:53but grants tenacity when health is below half.
04:56Tenacity is an ability that increases defense and prevents staggering, making it a highly
05:00useful gear set.
05:07Gale Guard Set
05:14If you're a perfect dodge connoisseur, then the Gale Guard set is ideal for you.
05:18It's completely centered upon perfect dodging, and can be unlocked after the Chapter 2 fight
05:22with the Stone Vanguard.
05:23The legs allow you to regain mana when performing three perfect dodges in a row, which is amazing
05:28since mana regeneration is so scarce.
05:40Its 2-piece bonus gives you even more focus from perfect dodging, and then the 4-piece
05:44bonus reduces the cooldown for all spells after a perfect dodge.
05:48When upgraded to Mythical Rarity, it gives you significantly more invincibility frames
05:51when dodging, making it even easier to activate its abilities.
06:04Centipede Set
06:13Our next outfit offers a high-risk, high-reward playstyle which is entirely built around poison.
06:18The Centipede Set can be crafted any time after finishing Chapter 4, that means after
06:22killing the 100-eyed Taoist Master.
06:24It has five pieces in total, with the chest piece having a unique effect which increases
06:28attack after defeating an enemy.
06:37The fifth piece is the secret Alternative Venomous Armguards which inflict poison upon
06:42landing a critical hit.
06:43The 2-piece bonus reduces the poison damage taken, and the 4-piece conversely increases
06:47your attack when poisoned.
06:48It can be difficult to maintain a constant poison state, but if done properly, it can
06:52pack one of the biggest punches in the game.
07:03Bronze Set
07:12Elder Jinchi is the secret boss of Chapter 1, unlocked by ringing three bells scattered
07:16across Blackwind Mountain.
07:18After defeating this big-headed enemy, you can craft the Bronze Set, which gives massive
07:22bonuses to the Immobilize perk, Evanescence.
07:31The perk activates when you immobilize an enemy right before their attack lands, shown
07:34by a silver aura.
07:36The 2-piece bonus also grants you extra damage when you crash an enemy's immobilization,
07:40and then the 4-piece bonus reduces the immobilized cooldown when this happens.
07:44It's extremely effective for immobilized fans, but if it's not your spell of choice,
07:47then don't bother crafting it.
07:54Pilgrim Set
08:02One of the first armor sets you'll find in your journey is the Pilgrim Set, which grants
08:06some amazing bonuses to sprinting.
08:08You can craft it once you reach the Guan Yin Temple Shrine in Blackwind Mountain.
08:12It needs to be upgraded to remain viable, but the bonuses are worth it.
08:15The headband lets you use the ground while sprinting, the 2-piece bonus lets you sprint
08:19faster, and the 4-piece bonus stacks attack while sprinting.
08:22To explain fully, if you sprint for 10 seconds, your next attack will have a 100% damage bonus.
08:32It's lost right after you stop sprinting, but still massively strong.
08:36This mythical bonus might be the best in the game, building up focus when sprinting.
08:49Monkey King Set
08:57This list would be incomplete if we failed to mention the Monkey King Set, which all
09:00players should unlock during Chapter 6.
09:03You can easily argue that it's the coolest-looking outfit, reflecting the iconic look of the
09:06King of Wukong.
09:07It increases health, mana, and stamina by 30 each.
09:10Alongside this, its 3-piece bonus gives you an increased critical hit chance after casting
09:14a spell.
09:24If paired with Jingu Bang, then you will unlock the 5-piece bonus, which reduces all spell
09:28cooldowns after a critical hit.
09:30Jingu Bang also prevents your 4th focus point gauge from depleting over time, and this is
09:34a game-changer.
09:35It's probably the best late-game armor, and it requires no upgrades since it's already
09:39mythical rarity.
09:45Which armor set was your favorite?
