Ten newborn babies were killed after a fire broke out in the neonatal intensive care unit of Maharani Laxmibai Medical College hospital in Uttar Pradesh, India.

The fire which broke out on Friday (Nov 15) night was caused by a suspected short circuit in an oxygen concentrator.

01:10four years ago and the fire alarms failed to activate when the blaze broke out, delaying
