00:00Let's talk quarterbacks. Let's talk MVPs here, Joe. We were having a good Jalen Hurts conversation
00:08a few segments earlier. Maybe we should just continue it right here and now. He sits at
00:12plus 1,600. That's at the bottom of this list of four. Lamar Jackson at plus 110 as we go
00:18into play today.
00:19Yeah, I do think it's a four-person race right now. And I think Hurts, even though he's very
00:25far away from everybody else, I think that gap's potentially closing. So there's a scenario
00:31where we looked at that schedule, right? And by the time we get to the end here, he could
00:35be three or four to one. So this is one you could potentially make money on regardless
00:38if you have cash out options. He went from 20 to one to now 1,600. So we're getting right
00:44in this vein where everybody's starting to recognize the eagle's run here.
00:48What's in front of him? Patrick Mahomes with an undefeated team. The minute that goes bust,
00:52we start really looking at Patrick Mahomes statistically differently. Maybe. Josh Allen
00:57hanging on by the skin of his teeth and maybe the most valuable in terms of what he's been
01:01able to do to kind of will this Buffalo Bills team to continue to stay relevant with what's
01:05gone on. And we thought Amari Cooper would be the cure-all and it really isn't curing
01:09much of anything. It's become just another ill. And then there's Lamar Jackson playing
01:12out of his mind. He's the number one guy. He's still plus money and still, I think,
01:17the guy to beat for this award. But there is a scenario where when we're going into
01:22the last three weeks of the season that it's Lamar at, you know, minus money and Jalen
01:27Hurts like right around like plus 150. That's not impossible. So I think it's one to really
01:32look at. I don't think there's anybody else really viable for this award out. Brock Purdy
01:37is after him. Kyler Murray, Jared Goff is the other one you can make a case for because
01:42of the Lions record, but I just don't think he's going to end up getting into that media
01:47sphere potentially that these other guys are already there. And if they're Lamar Jackson
01:53MVP fatigue, we've seen that happen sometimes too, where they still want to vote for the
01:57same guy over and over again. There's usually windows with these things. We've been living
02:01in the Lamar window for a while. We were in the Patrick Mahomes window and we're kind
02:04of trying to figure out, are we going to stay in that window with those two guys? Are we
02:07going to look at maybe a Jalen Hurts or a Josh Allen? It's a four-team race, a four-person
02:11race rather, excuse me. And I do believe that Jalen Hurts, his number is going to shrink
02:15at least in half, if not more over now through the Thanksgiving holiday. So keep a close
02:21eye on that, see how it works out. But Lamar is still the man at the top of the mountain
02:25at MVP.
