The United States will be providing another $1 million for urgent humanitarian aid for the Philippines after facing six typhoons in less than a month.

00:00As I mentioned earlier today, I recognize that just yesterday we had yet another horrific storm come through.
00:10And our thoughts, prayers, and condolences are with the people who have been disadvantaged because of not only this storm,
00:19but the five storms that preceded this last storm.
00:24I've authorized U.S. forces to provide direct support to respond to the super typhoon.
00:32We've also secured another million dollars in urgent humanitarian aid that will help surge aid to the Philippine people.
