President Marcos has ordered the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and other relevant government agencies to ensure the welfare of first responders as he expressed his gratitude to them anew for their sacrifices during the recent series of typhoons.

00:37we were able to ensure the safety and well-being of our first responders.
00:44Because of the continuous storms, I think some of them are really tired and have a hard time to continue their work.
00:54But they are still there.
00:55And that is why we are hoping, we know that they can really be trusted.
01:01Fellow countrymen, I know that you are suffering a lot.
01:05But I hope that we will not be discouraged.
