00:00If I am on court, hopefully not, because at the end I am not here for retiring, I am here
00:10to try to help the team.
00:12Then it's of course going to be my last week on the professional tour, but at the end we
00:17are here in a team competition.
00:25I don't know.
00:27I cannot predict what's going on, but if I am on court, hopefully not, because at the
00:32end I am not here for retiring, I am here to try to help the team.
00:36Then it's of course going to be my last week on the professional tour, but at the end we
00:41are here in a team competition.
00:43So the most important thing here is try to help the team and to stay all focused on what
00:49we have to do, that is play tennis and do it very well, because the rivals are going
00:53to be difficult and the conditions are difficult too.
00:57Then the emotions are going to be for the end, and before and during we need to be focused
01:03on what we need to do.
01:05Well, I mean, yeah, I had that possibility and it's something great.
01:11Everybody knows how much I love my country in general.
01:20I haven't been able to move from the country ever, so I enjoy living here and playing my
01:31last event in Spain.
01:33It's something that I am very happy with, thanks to the work that they made in Valencia
01:44to qualify for the finals, I have the chance to enjoy this last moment of my tennis career.
01:52Being with them, being with the team and playing in Spain, that's something very special, because
01:57I will never have the chance to thank enough everybody here in Spain, the support that
02:02I received and the love that I felt in all ways.
02:07The media, the crowd, the kids, I always had a great connection with them, so I have been
02:17very fortunate to enjoy all what I enjoyed and feel myself the way that I feel during
02:23all those years.
02:24It's a very special feeling, but I felt very well loved, so I've been very special.
02:30I mean, that's a question for the captain, not for me.
02:37I just try to work as hard as possible the last month and a half, then here, just trying
02:45to do my best every single day.
02:47Of course, when you are not competing very often, it's a little bit more difficult to
02:51hold the level in a constant basis, but good moments, some more difficult moments.
02:59I think the improvement is there every day, but I mean, we have a great team in Spain,
03:08so the thing is, all these players on the tour are playing very well, having great seasons
03:16and then it's the work of the captain to decide what he feels is better for the team.
