00:00The Department of Justice is now investigating former President Rodrigo Duterte
00:05regarding his possible violations of human rights.
00:09Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said that the former President Duterte's statement was ridiculous
00:16regarding Malacanang's sponsored attack on former Senator Trillanes.

00:25Justice Secretary Jesus Crespin Boying Remulia confirmed that the Department of Justice is now investigating
00:32former President Rodrigo Duterte.
00:34According to Secretary Remulia, the Task Force is looking into the possible violations of the former President in the International Humanitarian Law.
00:41This has to do with the extradjudicial killings and war on drugs committed by the Duterte administration back then.
00:47The former President Duterte had to face a hearing of the Quad Committee in the Chamber.
00:52Do we have a specific hearing? Is that part of the investigation?
00:58IHL, International Humanitarian Law, is what we are investigating now.
01:05Because it is the law that the ICC is studying, as well as the law that we have here.

01:23Meanwhile, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin called it a hallucination
01:28that the former President Duterte is using as an excuse
01:30for Malacanang's sponsored attack on former Senator Antonio Trillanes.
01:35According to Secretary Bersamin, this kind of comments should not be allowed.
01:40Trillanes was one of those who attended the House Quad Committee hearing
01:43where he explained the alleged deposits in the bank of the former President's family,
01:48which was denied by the former President.
01:51It's hard for me to answer that. It's a hallucination.
