मुरादाबाद, यूपी : कुंदरकी विधानसभा में आयोजित जनसभा में पहुंचे एआईएमआईएम के प्रदेशाध्यक्ष शौकत अली ने कांवड़ यात्रा को लेकर विवादित बयान दिया है। उन्होंने कहा, "अगर हम दो मिनट सड़क पर नमाज पढ़ें तो शोर मच जाता है। कांवड़ के नाम पर दो महीने सड़कें बंद करके पुलिस डिपार्टमेंट के लोग कांवड़ियों पर फूल बरसाते हैं। कांवड़िये मस्त रहते हैं, चिलम भी मारते हैं और शराब भी पीते हैं, हुड़दंग मचाते हैं, गाड़ियां भी तोड़ते हैं। हमारा पुलिस डिपार्टमेंट जाकर उनके पैरों पर मरहम लगाता है। हेलीकॉप्टर से उनके ऊपर फूल बरसाए जाते हैं...।"
