00:00The president wants nothing more than to ensure the safety of everyone who will be within the path of the deadly weather disturbance like Pepito.

00:09Aside from this, the Marcos administration wants to help those who have been severely affected by these recent calamities to be able to rise and recover from such nightmarish ordeal.

00:24Super Typhoon Pepito has exited the country but President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. vows continued support for typhoon victims.

00:33In addition to food packs, hygiene kits, and construction materials, the government is providing financial aid and livelihood support to help typhoon victims recover.

00:44The president also offered his condolences to the bereaved families of those who lost their lives due to the typhoon.

00:52We will now carry on with the rescue of those isolated areas and the continuing relief for those who have been displaced and have no means to prepare their own meals and have no water supply.

01:12The relief that we are doing, the rebuilding will also start to continue as well.

01:20Despite the challenges, the president commended the relentless efforts of first responders, local governments, and all those involved in disaster preparedness and response for back-to-back typhoons.

01:32I'm sorry and saddened to report that we have a casualty in Cam Norte and you know my feelings about that.

01:48The president also thanked individuals and groups who joined forces with the government to prevent greater devastation from Typhoon Pepito.

01:57I hope that when Christmas comes, we, Filipinos, will remember our fellow Filipinos.

02:07No matter how hard it is, I hope that we will be able to share the joy of Christmas with them.
