Arne Slot’s side have now experienced a number of tough tests throughout the campaign so far. The Reds have sharpened up their defensive record and look to have a more measured approach to games. So, can any stop them as they have constantly passed the test so far this season.

00:00So, Will, looking at Liverpool's fixtures, obviously, we mentioned this tough run and
00:07they've come through with flying colours. How do you reflect on it? How are fans feeling
00:12about it? The gap that they've got at the top of the Premier League is starting to just
00:17get wider with Manchester City and Arsenal making a few errors as well.
00:22Yes, I think everyone has made a point that Liverpool's fixture list from the last international
00:30break to the one that's upon us now was very difficult. When Liverpool had this start to
00:36the season under Arnaud Slot, there was a track to say, well, they haven't played anyone
00:40yet and to be fair to Arnaud Slot as well, he said it a couple of times in his press
00:44conference that a lot of the teams that he played with were down the bottom end of the
00:49table. But from the last international break to this one, they've played Chelsea, they've
00:56beaten them, they've beaten the German champions Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig who were flying
01:03in the Bundesliga, Brighton twice. We've seen what Brighton did to Manchester City at the
01:08weekend and they've beaten Aston Villa as well, fairly comfortably at Anfield. The only
01:13point that they have dropped was a 2-2 draw at Arsenal, which I don't think that's a bad
01:18result at all, is it? Drawing away at your title rivals when you probably weren't your
01:23best rival, especially in the first half of that game. So, I suppose they've got some
01:28tricky fixtures after the next international break, Manchester City, Newcastle to come
01:33and the Merseyside derby. But Liverpool have certainly shown that they can compete with
01:40any team in the Premier League, any team in Europe. I think they will have a wobble at
01:46one stage a little bit. It always happens to any team, maybe really can't pick up wins
01:56for a couple of weeks, but it's about how Liverpool can quickly bounce back after that
02:00and what Arnold Slotkin can do. Liverpool fans are going into every game now believing
02:06that they can win it, especially when they're going to be playing Real Madrid and Manchester
02:10City when the season recommences after the international break.
02:15So on that, six goals conceded, by far the least goals conceded in the league as well.
02:22This is something that must be really charging, their sort of fluent attack. Obviously, we
02:27mentioned it's a bit more of a steady approach under Arnie Schlott. It's all sort of coming
02:32together, it seems, at the right time. I know it's obviously early on, but the fans must
02:36be so excited.
02:37Yeah, they are. There's a perfect balance, really. Maybe in January they might look to
02:43adjust in the field. Obviously, they wanted Super Mendy in the summer, and did they still
02:49want to add to the engine room? But overall, it was a real good mix, and I think that's
02:55why confidence has grown among supporters.
