00:00Now, they have another problem to deal with.
00:06One of their best players is out, JT Miller.
00:09JT Miller has taken a leave of absence from the Vancouver Canucks.
00:14We can tell you what they are saying reports are in Vancouver.
00:17Rick Dollywall, who is pretty connected to the Vancouver Canucks, he's not like a flamboyant
00:22looking for clickbait news, but he normally is pretty in touch with what's going on with
00:28the organization.
00:30And the reports are that JT Miller's absence is not an alcohol or a substance abuse problem.
00:36Because really, for the most part, and something should remain personal, it is what it is,
00:41we don't have to know everything about everybody all the time, but people want to know.
00:45And they get that.
00:46So they basically let it be known, like through, you know, they leaked it basically to trusted
00:50media types that they said, yeah, it's not an alcohol or a drug problem.
00:55He basically, they said he needs a reset.
00:57Now, I don't know if you know what's going on in his personal life.
01:01And I don't know.
01:02But I don't think he'll be out for that long.
01:05But I guess he sort of felt that he couldn't give everything that he needed to give to
01:09the team and to his teammates when he was playing right now, which, you know, I actually
01:14respect it.
01:15I know some old school people will be like, oh, man, all this leave of absence stuff.
01:18And it's the second dude on the Canucks has taken a leave of absence this year.
01:22And a lot of times it is substance.
01:24A lot of times it's drinking.
01:27There's not as much of an alcohol problem in the National Hockey League as there used
01:31to be, but there's still like heavy alcohol use in the National Hockey League.
01:37More so with the coaches.
01:38Like the coaches, like it's, you know what I mean?
