The search for missing Melbourne woman Isla Bell has ended with the discovery of human remains at a tip in Melbourne’s south-east overnight. A man has faced court charged with her murder. The young woman's family want her to be remembered as more than a statistic.

00:43About two weeks after that, on Isla's 20th birthday, her heartbroken mother begged for her safe return.

00:52Police raided properties in Bentley East and Mulgrave yesterday before the horrific discovery overnight.
00:59In court documents, police allege she was murdered on October 7.

01:14with no details of the allegations against him before he was remanded in custody.
01:19But his lawyer told the court Mr Garnier had gone two days without taking prescribed methadone,

01:27He'll return to court in March.
