A Form 5 student who ploughed his bike into a policeman's motorcycle while riding against traffic has been barred by a Seremban Magistrate's Court from holding a driving licence for five years.

Magistrate Nurul Azuin Mohd Talhah also ordered the 17-year-old to serve a good behaviour bond for a year with a RM1,000 deposit.

00:23The Form 5 student, who had to be brought to the court in a wheelchair, had pleaded
00:27guilty when charged on September 12.
00:30He was charged with committing the offence on July 28 this year at kilometre 36 of the
00:36Kajang-Seremban Expressway.
00:38He was charged under Section 42, Subsection 1 of the Road Transport Act 1987 for riding
00:45his motorcycle recklessly and against the flow of traffic and crashing into 36-year-old
00:51Corporal Muhammad Alif Adi's bike.
00:54When the incident happened, the policeman was conducting a traffic operation with his
00:58team.
00:59He suffered serious injuries.
