A 35-year-old woman coming home from her friend's house was found passed out in her vehicle, blocking two lanes of traffic in the middle of the night in Troy. Her foot was on the brake pedal and with the car still in park, police used backup to ensure she could be safely removed before being arrested.

00:13They soon see why the vehicle
00:14wasn't moving.
00:15The driver was asleep at the
00:16wheel.
00:17And that's not the only thing
00:18disturbing about this scene.
00:19The officers are just kind of
00:20taking note on if the vehicle
00:21is still in drive, which it was.
00:23It's not a big deal.

00:37was.
00:38The driver's foot was on the

00:46The officers called for a second
00:48vehicle to come in front of that
00:49stopped vehicle.
00:50And then they woke the driver
00:51up.
00:52The driver, 35-year old Eva
00:54Marie Brow from Pontiac, woke up
00:55disoriented and slowly took her
00:57foot off the brake.
00:58officers smell alcohol on the driver and her speech is slurred. So they want
01:02her to perform sobriety evaluations. Take a look at her performance. Okay,
01:10she did not perform very well. Um, clearly intoxicated. Where was she
01:15coming from? She said she was coming from a friend's house in Fraser and
01:19headed home to her house in Pontiac. But instead, brow was placed in police
01:24custody. She was arrested for O. W. I. Operating while intoxicated. Uh, this
01:28happened to be her third offense. So this is a, um, a felony. And then she
01:33was arraigned and given a $5000 personal bond. And as we approach the
01:38holiday season, Troy, police say there will be even more officers out there
01:42looking for those intoxicated drivers. We always do X patrols around the
01:47holidays, specifically the night before Thanksgiving with the big bar night.
01:51We'll have extra officers out there enforcing the operating while
