00:00Before we start, I wanted to mention about Bob Love, what I'll get emotional.
00:06He was a big guy in my life, Sam, you know that really an impressive guy.
00:14I think people remember Bob from basketball, and I really don't.
00:19You know, he was a great basketball player, but I met him when I was young in high school,
00:25young.
00:26And I don't know if you knew about Bob, but he had a stuttering problem now severe.
00:33And remember him talking to me and really struggling doing it.
00:38And I thought how courageous that is, that an NBA player would speak to a bunch of kids
00:45is that a park that he was that I want to say it was in Maywood, but I know it wasn't.
00:50I don't know where I was at.
00:52But it was just so impressive to me and for whatever reason, Bob took a liking to me.
00:59You know, he would give me a shoes, you know, through high school and just as a powerful
01:05guy in a city, tough guy like I think he epitomized Chicago in a lot of ways with his toughness
01:12and how we grew up Isaiah and Mark Aguirre and and all of us like Bob was our guy.
