Telangana Government on Flood prone Areas : హైదరాబాద్లో ప్రధాన రహదారులపై నిలిచే వరదనీటి నుంచి నగరవాసులు, వాహనదారుల కష్టాలను గట్టెక్కించేందుకు చేపట్టిన భూగర్భ సంపుల నిర్మాణాన్ని జీహెచ్ఎంసీ శరవేగంగా పూర్తి చేస్తోంది. 6 జోన్లలో ఒక్కో జోన్‌కు 5 చొప్పున నిర్మించాలని లక్ష్యంగా పెట్టుకోగా ప్రాథమికంగా అత్యంత సమస్యాత్మకంగా ఉన్న 14 ప్రాంతాల్లో భూగర్భ సంపుల నిర్మాణం చేపట్టారు. ఇందుకోసం ప్రభుత్వం ప్రత్యేకంగా రూ. 20 కోట్లు కేటాయించగా 10 లక్షల నుంచి 40 లక్షల లీటర్ల సామర్థ్యంతో నిర్మిస్తున్నారు. తద్వారా ఆయా ప్రాంతాల్లోని వరద నీటిని సంపుల్లోకి మళ్లించి ట్రాఫిక్ సమస్య తలెత్తకుండా చూసేందుకు పనులు చేస్తున్నారు.
