00:00Moment for those of you who know me or have seen me in a renal interview, you know that I can talk forever
00:05But I only have four minutes up here. So I'm going to the best job that I can
00:09First of all, allow me to congratulate Ty and Thor sport

00:17It's an honor to be up here with both of you and it's only right that I get this started with a thank-you to mr
00:22Penske you took a chance on me and you started this incredible journey many years ago. So so thank you
00:28I'm standing here as a champion is something that I've always dreamed of but to actually be here after all the years of trying
00:35Feeling this victory. It's it's surreal. I know that's God
00:38I know that God's plan doesn't always come in the form of winning
00:41But there is no doubt that this championship was truly a blessing from him
00:45I'm extremely thankful for everything that he's given me not only to me but to my family as well

03:08For me and my career. It's truly been incredible and I will always cherish celebrating this championship with you

03:22But I'm so appreciative of the relationships and the people that have gotten me to this point in my racing journey
03:27All of that started at age 5 and that's truly incredible

03:34You are such an unbelievably talented group that pushes me to be better every single day
03:39It's an honor to compete alongside of you week in and week out
03:42This Xfinity series is really a special place and that's clear by what we get to do every single week at the racetrack
03:48We're all as fast as Xfinity internet everywhere we go
03:51To all the fans your energy enthusiasm and incredible passion has just been incredible
04:00You've been through every turn every lap and of course like Phoenix every penalty
04:04but I'm honored and humbled by all of your support and
04:08Finally Wayne Alton, I'm so glad I got to make good on a promise that I gave you of winning a championship before you retired
04:15But man, I wasn't planning on cutting it this close
04:17What you have meant to me in this whole sport is indescribable and we're all going to miss you
04:22so if everyone would grab their drinks and
04:28Wayne I'm not exactly sure where you're sitting, but if you could stand up for just a moment

04:34Wayne Alton has done more for this sport than he will ever get credit for
04:39he's truly somebody that is
04:42He embodies what this sport is all about and we appreciate you for everything you've done for us
04:47We're glad to have had you we're sad to see you go
04:50We know that we're gonna be in great hands
04:51But we're sad to see you go and there's nothing more than I wanted to get you up on stage and embarrass you
