00:00It's a really emotional day for me. I'm actually struggling a little bit today.
00:05We've got 66 women's names to read out today and lay a rose for each of those women that we've lost this year to gendered violence, which is pretty horrific.
00:18In the blink of an eye, under cover of darkness, you sneak around.
00:24Thoughts of betrayal are your only sound.
00:27She does not deserve this, no matter what.
00:30But you went and did it, breaking her trust.
00:34Did you even see it, her absolute fear, bleeding out of her eyes with silent tears?
00:42What have you done, to get you that right, to stand in judgement, taking her innocent life?
00:50And family left behind, heartbroken and sore, cannot understand it.
00:56They want to know more.
00:58She had so much to give, a heartbeat for life.
