00:00Hello, my name is Bronwyn, we're in Sheffield and I have repainted on a ghost sign from
00:231905 and this is it.
00:30Hello, my name is Bronwyn, we're in Sheffield and this is my ghost sign on the side of my
00:40house.
00:41I bought the house in March and I realised there was a bit of painting on there, we couldn't
00:45really see it very well and we did some research and we found out what it said and we painted
00:50it back on.
00:51We got on scaffolding, the only reason why the scaffolding was up is because we were
00:56having the roof redone because there was holes in it.
00:59We went to like three storeys up and started painting it, we did it with chalk to realise
01:04where everything went and then we painted it in black and then painted it in white on
01:08top.
01:09We started on the 11th of October, we were on scaffolding, we chalked it, we painted
01:15it, painted it again and painted it again so it wouldn't come off right away.
01:20It was quite difficult because the lines on the side were just very hard to do to make
01:25sure you didn't go over it and then the side of the house which is in tiny letters, that
01:30was really, really hard to do because the paintbrushes were all too thick to do it so
01:35then we had to go buy more but it was very time consuming but it was nice to do and cold,
01:40it was very cold.
01:41From what I know, the locals love it, every time someone walks past they're always shouting
01:46oh it looks great, they've had some postcards through the door saying it looks great, had
01:51some messages from the locals that I know that say they really like it, yeah so I've
01:56not heard anything bad about it but people have had bad opinions and that's okay, we're
02:00all entitled to our opinions.
02:02The painting is very original apart from a little bit which is the B and the B which
02:07is at the very top which stands for Beatrice and Bronwyn because we painted it and we wanted
02:13to be part of it for as long as it's there.
