00:00This plastic surgeon who built a following on social media and has more than 800,000 TikTok
00:05followers was permanently stripped of her medical license. Her lack of professionalism
00:10and poor judgment and delegating responsibilities to others appears to have significantly contributed
00:16to her falling below the standards of care. Katherine Graw, known online as Dr. Roxy,
00:21was accused by the State Medical Board of Ohio of violating patient privacy and inappropriately
00:27treating three patients. The 12-person board initially suspended Graw's medical license on
00:32November 18, 2022, stating her practice presents a danger of immediate and serious harm to the
00:39public. Dr. Roxy amassed more than 825,000 followers on TikTok by live streaming procedures
00:46and taking part in viral trends. According to the State Medical Board, one of the three patients who
00:51accused Graw of botching their liposuction and BBL was hospitalized and received treatment from
00:57a separate doctor following their surgery. The permanent suspension of Graw's medical license
01:02means she will no longer be allowed to practice in the state of Ohio. As a part of the board's
01:06decision, she was also fined $4,500. Graw can appeal the board's decision and has privated
01:13both her Instagram and TikTok accounts.
