00:21The chatbot already has more than 1,000 paying subscribers
00:25and has generated over $71,000 in revenue in about a week, almost entirely from men.
00:31Marjorie estimates that Karen AI could eventually bring in $5 million a month
00:36based on 20,000 of her followers signing up for the service.
00:40According to the Karen AI website, more than 2,000 hours were spent designing the AI
00:45so it feels as if you're talking directly to Karen herself.
00:48However, since its launch, the AI has gone rogue by engaging in sexually explicit
00:53conversations with some of its subscribers.
00:56Marjorie says the AI was not programmed to do this
00:59and that her team is working to prevent it from happening again.
