00:00This is Vantara. It is a 3,000 acre land inside Reliance's Jamnagar refinery complex in Gujarat,
00:07converted to a jungle, sheltering more than 2,000 animals across 43 species.
00:12This animal welfare initiative is the brainchild of Anant Ambani,
00:17director on the boards of RIL and Reliance Foundation.
00:20My mother has always been a great support and she's always told me that
00:25how much ever punya you can gain in life, you should do that.
00:29And I think by helping the animals who have no voice, it's something which is extremely important to me.
00:37Along with thousands of birds, reptiles and other animals,
00:41the programme has rescued over 200 elephants.
00:44The Centre for Elephants at Vantara houses one of the largest elephant hospitals in the world.
00:50Animals from distressed and endangered environments,
00:53in India and abroad, are treated in Vantara's Rehabilitation Centre.
00:58Leading India's wildlife conservation efforts, Vantara's ecosystem also hosts over 300 felines
01:05like lions, jaguars and over 300 herbivores like deers and 1,200 reptiles.
