00:00it's just incredible looking back because you're just in it there you've made the choice you're at

00:05home there is no pain you know medication um but it just does something like chemically to you that

00:12you're like wow i'm doing this and the only the only way that this pain is going to be over is

00:19when i get to meet my door this is going to be just it's so heightened because you're so relieved

00:25you're so excited you're so grateful you feel so powerful like it's just everything all at once it's

00:30like this explosion of all the feelings um but yeah the ring of fire was that was testing and

00:36i was almost like falling asleep mid contraction just to try and like okay let me just try and

00:43sleep through it so i can go crazy in the next contraction um but yeah it's your most like raw

00:49animalistic form and philip was just there with the biggest grin on like so excited like cheering

00:54me on he was just like it truly is the most powerful thing he's ever witnessed um and i think

01:00he said the second time because he knew what to expect he was also more in it too and less worried

01:06about everything else and just and it all goes down to your birth team my very similar things

01:13happen my son got stuck which again is very very normal um especially if you know you have a quick

01:21you know labor and the same thing happened the second time but the difference was

01:26you know my new midwife just let me trust my body and we just waited for the contraction

01:31that like and that's what could have happened the first time but it didn't so when you know she

01:36started checking me and you know going up there physically with her hand and kind of essentially

01:41intervening in a birth which my new team is kind of was a little bit against they were like we want

01:47you and your baby you're both capable you know what you're going to do we don't want to intervene

01:51um instead i got taken out of the water which is shocking to your body you know and then your

01:57oxytocin drops and then the next contractions don't come so then you're having to kind of pull

02:02the baby out more and it's all happening in seconds but it's all just not what you had planned

02:08so you're like what's going on what's happening and then he was born like behind me and even that

02:14was so different from being in the bathtub and her coming out and i just see and i'm part of

02:19the all of it and then she's on my chest and i was like oh my gosh this is everything that i wanted

02:24it to be and no one intervened and even though she got a little bit stuck we just pushed through and

02:29we did it and yeah i hope that so many more women get to experience those redemption births
