00:30I have extended an offer to President Trump and incoming Border Czar Tom Homan to use
00:35this 1,400-acre property to construct a facility for the processing, detention, and coordination
00:42efforts of what will be the largest deportation of violent criminals in our nation's history.
00:50A facility here will be the final stop for processing before these violent criminals
00:58are deported.
00:59This will reduce the burden on our local jails and keep our Texas children safer.
01:05President Trump and Mr. Homan, I meant it when I said that I will do everything in my
01:10power to help this administration.
01:24The previous owner would not allow law enforcement on this ranch.
01:29She would not allow the wall to be built on this ranch.
01:33It stayed at the height of all of the violence.
01:37The top property for trafficking, for people coming across, for drugs, always in the top
01:44section.
01:45But that will no longer be tolerated.
01:47In less than 24 hours of purchasing this property, we had the right-of-way done for the wall.
01:54Within a couple weeks, we had broken ground.
02:03And guess what?
02:04We are going to build a mile of this wall in the next week, and we're going to be done
02:07in the next couple of weeks.
02:27The new project that the General Land Office is going to embark in that I have created
02:32is the Jocelyn Initiative, in which we will locate appropriate land under my jurisdiction
02:39to lease for the construction of violent criminal deportation facilities.
02:44My office has identified several of our properties and is standing by ready to make this happen
02:49on day one of the Trump presidency.
02:55Every day it's a struggle.
02:57Every day it's hard.
02:58Some days are easier than others, but it never takes away the fact that she's not here anymore
03:06due to heinous people who were let in this country to do what they did to her.
03:19This ranch is the first ranch that we offered to the Trump administration in case it fits
03:23their needs.
03:24We haven't heard from them back for sure what they want or if it fits their needs,
03:28but the Jocelyn Initiative is really looking at all of our properties across the state.
03:32We have 13 million acres.
03:34If there's something that we have that is useful to them to help us get these violent
03:38criminals off of our soil, that's what we want to do.
