00:00I do think that it will be a big shame, because obviously there's not a lot of that type of thing around here.
00:06And for them to close that, then it would probably be the only thing around here for that, gone.
00:11And then you'd have to go to Brum, which is more expensive, you'd have to go to Stafford, which is more expensive.
00:15You think of family entertainment around here, what have you got, other than going to a leisure centre,
00:21which people don't always have the money for, or it's too cold like it is now.
00:26Going to sit inside a theatre, enjoying something that's good, fun, family,
00:32the kids then can get into it and the kids are interactive, that's where it shines.
00:37Because having the kids there, and having them turn around and say,
00:41oh no, it's not, and all that, that's where it gets it, because that's where the family comes in.
00:47That's the good childhood memories, doing things like that.
00:49And obviously if they take that away, then there's none of that anymore.
00:52We are absolutely devastated. When we heard the news yesterday, we were straight on to it,
00:58telling our friends and family, because we knew that they would all be so upset, as we are.
01:05It's well supported, both the theatre and the Museum of Cannock Chase.
01:09It's just a devastating, it's another nail in the coffin of Cannock, to be honest.
01:15It's the jewel in the crown of Cannock, what have we got in Cannock?
01:20But the theatre and the museum in Ensford, and to take that away from us, we're just so upset about it.
01:26Especially for some of the older generation, if they want to go to the theatre, they have to go to Stafford,
01:31and obviously there's access problems with that, and also Warbrampton.
01:34This is much appreciated, I think, in the town by many people.
01:39It's a shame, it's a shame, because lots of things are closing, and we've got to try and keep these things going.
01:47Because once it's gone, it's gone, it's not going to come back, is it?
01:50Absolutely, yeah, it's another strike in the heart for theatre really, isn't it?
01:54After Covid and whatnot as well.
01:56I mean, what was it, because you said that you, did you do a couple of shows in there as well?
01:59Yeah, we used to do the shows, the younger ones have done festivals and different things there,
02:04but we used to put on a show at the Red Rose in Rugeley, at the Tour of Cannock,
02:10where we'd do different routines, and like the little ones and stuff.
02:14It's a shame, it's a shame, you had some good memories there.
