Medics in Gaza report that at least 21 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli strikes.

One of the targeted areas was the Nuseirat camp, where a building was destroyed. Israel has intensified its bombardments, with tanks advancing deeper into both the northern and southern regions.

Meanwhile, Egypt has sent a delegation to Israel to mediate a ceasefire. Following a truce in Lebanon, U.S. President Joe Biden has urged Israel and Hamas to reach an agreement.

00:00More strikes from the Israeli army, part of the Israeli army to the Nusrat refugee camp, a series of Israeli airstrikes have hit the refugee camp since the early morning, killing at least 10 people and wounding about dozens others, maybe more than 30 others have been wounded because of these strikes.
00:20Buildings have been hit, high rises have been hit, the top apartments of those rises have been hit by the Israeli airstrikes, artillery fire was continuing since the early morning and the Al-Auda hospital, the Nusrat refugee camp is coming under fire, under heavy fire that is very close to the hospital itself.
00:41All these strikes have been abrupt since the early morning and the people are afraid that the Israeli army is preparing for some kind of a ground invasion because of the fact that Nusrat is very close to the Netarim area zone that the Israeli army has been positioning forces in for the past few months.
01:05And the hope for a ceasefire is still over there in the territory because of the Lebanese-Israeli agreement or the Hezbollah-Israeli agreement, the people here hope that the American administration should intervene seriously to end this situation and reach a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.
01:26Also they hope that the Egyptians will intervene seriously and heavily involve in talks for a ceasefire that they hope it will be seen sooner than later because of the desperate life that the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are experiencing, especially with continued Israeli army airstrikes and actions going on in different parts of the region.
01:56Rami, just a quick word about everyday life for people in Gaza, just what's going on in terms of food supplies, clean water, medical supplies and aid, how is it?
02:11Actually we had already spoken to some people about the supplies. Doctors complain of the fact that there are medicines that are lacking now, especially medicines that treat the complications of children, especially at this winter time and most recently with the storm that hit the Gaza Strip.
02:33Some of these medicines are lacking and they can't do more than treating symptomatically for the children. The supplies, the foods are lacking and there is a severe shortage of food supplies and if the food supplies are available, like some fruits, some vegetables, they are sold for skyrocketing prices that the majority of the population can't afford for the time being.
03:00This comes amidst calls by international organizations for Israel to increase the amount of humanitarian aid that enters the Gaza Strip over the past few days.
03:13Yesterday about 120 truckloads have entered the territory, including truckloads that carry some plastic items used by the kitchen or some cleaners for the households.
