00:00Alex Polidario and Jenny Gaviola did not hesitate to advance in the 2024 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Qualification Round held in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

00:17The 2024 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Qualification Round was held where several of the world's best beach volleyball players gathered in Nuvali Sand Court in Santa Rosa City, Laguna.

00:30The Filipino fans did not hesitate to show their support to the country's youth, the Philippines.

00:36Alex Polidario and Jenny Gaviola first participated against the Australian Pear Champs Jasmine Fleming and Lizzy Alchin.

00:44Showing the heart and determination of the Alas-Filipinas Pear, it was not enough to defeat the Aussie Tandem.

00:51In the end, Team Australia won 2-0.

00:54Although we already have experiences, but of course we are still lacking.

00:59We are still lacking. That's what we always try to work out in training.

01:06You know, we will treat training as a game.

01:10It's a great experience to be able to fight against such a team.

01:15Australia, especially, always holds the finish.

01:18We still need to train and persevere.

01:22So that next time we can be able to compete with such a good team.

01:29The Alas-Filipinas Tandem, Roniel Rosales and Edwin Tolentino, also joined the Men's Category of the Qualification Round.

01:36However, they were not able to advance in the tournament.

01:39After facing Jack Pierce and Potts of Australia, they were able to pull the score to 2-0.

01:45For us, we had a hard time because we have been playing for a year.

01:49Every league, we adjust and improve.

01:53Maybe next year, we will be able to do it.

01:56It's my second time to play in the League of Beach Volleyball.

01:59From indoor to beach volleyball.

02:00I was excited that there will be pressure.

02:04Indoor is different from beach volleyball.

02:07In indoor, there are 6 of you as a team.

02:10Here, there are only 2 of you as a partner.

02:12That's why you really need communication.

02:16Despite this, the Alas-Filipinas is positive to show their determination to fight for the country.

02:24Ran Abdila and Lair Francisco in the Men's Class,

02:27Jen S. Lapor and Clay Aurelianeda in the Women's Category.

02:32The World Beach Pro Tour will last until December 1,

02:35where we will find out who will be the champion of this year's edition.
