00:00Thousands of beneficiaries in Quezon Province have received e-titles and certificates of condemnation and release of mortgage or COPPRO for the first time in the Calabar Zone.

00:38Emma is now able to rest in her farm in the town of Makalelon.

00:45She is one of the more than 4,000 agrarian reform beneficiaries of the Department of Agrarian Reform, or DAR,

00:52who received an e-title and certificate of condemnation in Quezon Province.

00:58She said that she was affected by the typhoons,

01:01so it was a big help because she will be able to use her salary for other needs in her farm.

01:10It was a big help as a farmer because we earn very little.

01:16If we still pay the land and penalties, we will hardly be able to pay.

01:22This is the first to share the Certificates of Condemnation and Release of Mortgage, or COPPRO, in the Calabar Zone.

01:30A total of 11,497 COPPROs were distributed to agrarian reform beneficiaries

01:37to improve agricultural productivity in the region,

01:41while more than PHP 441 million was condoned.

01:45The purpose of this initiative is to reduce the financial burden of farmers,

01:51including the 15 e-titles under the SPLIT project.

01:58Even in the middle of a drought,

02:00you continue to rise to provide food to every household.

02:06We cannot forgive your hard work and sacrifice every day.

02:12That is why we aspire to give you a better life.

02:16The distribution of COPPRO is in line with President Marquez Jr.'s promise

02:22for a comprehensive agrarian reform.

02:25It is also in line with the RA 11953, or New Emancipation Act,

02:30which is expected to bring great financial benefits,

02:34inspire farmers, and strengthen food security.

02:40Nayomi, President Marquez Jr. also encouraged the public

02:43to support our fellow farmers.

02:46Governor Helen Kesson is wholeheartedly grateful

02:50for the support of the government,

02:52especially to the residents who are farmers.
