00:00Hi there, it's John Blow here from the Yorkshire Post Features Team. I'm going to take you
00:04through some of the things coming up in the week ahead. So, first of all, politicians,
00:09business leaders, academics and the media will come together on Tuesday for the Great
00:14Northern Conference. Hosted by National World, which owns the Yorkshire Post, the conference
00:18at Doubletree by Hilton in Hull allows participants to debate and collaborate on how best to grow
00:24the economy and build a greener, fairer future for the North. Elsewhere, England's women
00:29footballers will take on Switzerland in a friendly Sheffield United's ground, Brommel
00:34Lane. That takes place on Tuesday with kick-off at 7.45pm. Switzerland are going to be hosting
00:42the Women's Euros 2025 and Tuesday's match will be England's last of 2024. The next fixtures
00:48will be with Portugal and Spain in February for the Women's Nations League. And the Princess
00:55of Wales will host her fourth Together at Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey.
00:59Friday's service will reflect on how much we need each other, especially in the most
01:05difficult times of our lives, said Kensington Palace last month. Kate's recovering from
01:10cancer and the service forms part of her gradual return to public duties.
