00:00Good morning, this is the PTV Balita Ngayon.

00:07The Palace welcomed the 100th and 61st birth anniversary of Gat Andres Bonifacio.

00:16In a message issued by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.,

00:19he said that in commemorating the day of life of the Supreme of the Church and Hero of the Masses,

00:26every Filipino should remember that even though he started from a low position in life,

00:31it did not stop Bonifacio's desire to fight for the peace of the country that he started with the revolution.

00:39According to the President,

00:40it is our duty as Filipinos to wake up for the love of our country,

00:46for the recognition of our Filipino identity, and for our integrity.

00:50For example, in commemorating our so-called countrymen,

00:55we should not forget our part to get rid of the Philippines from starvation, corruption,

01:01criminality, and other diseases of society.

01:05In the new Philippines, every Filipino should show discipline and love for the country for peace.

01:13Meanwhile, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin led the celebration in Caloocan City this morning.

01:22In other news, the Commission on Elections approved the appeal of 21 nuisance candidates for the Senate.

01:30According to Comelec Chairman George Erwin Garcia,

01:33the Comelec will also appeal three more nuisance candidates.

01:38But for now, out of the 183 who submitted their Certificates of Candidacies for the Senate,

01:4466 are still official candidates and 170 are nuisance candidates.

01:50The aspirants for the nuisance candidates may still appeal,

01:56but they will remain in the Supreme Court.

01:59Meanwhile, it is expected that on December 13,

02:02Comelec will release the official list of candidates for the local position.
