China's Olympic champion Ma Long and Taiwan's former leader Ma Ying-jeou played an exhibition table tennis match at the Chinese Culture University in Taipei on Friday.
Ma Long is on a nine-day visit to Taipei with 40 students and teachers from seven mainland universities. The delegation arrived at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport on Wednesday.
Invited by the Ma Ying-jeou Culture and Education Foundation, the delegation has been warmly welcomed across Taiwan and is aimed to enhance cross-strait relations.
