00:00and the Swansea player takes it 15 yards ahead of where it should have been. My take to referees
00:05is don't give yourself a problem. You're going to have a problem because I am going to say
00:09that has been taken 10-15 yards away from where the throwing has gone out. By the way,
00:12it's our throw as well, but I understand they make mistakes. The same thing happened in
00:15the second half here when there was a free kick close to the touchline, the one where
00:18John got booked. Of course, we've got to probably tidy up our behaviour on the touchlines, but
00:23we see what we're like. We feel like we're fans, we're players, we're everything in between
00:31and we feel it. Yes, we've got to be better, but it's just incredibly frustrating because
00:36we need a lot more than that.
00:38Nicola Schmidt's save, what can you urge a couple in there, but particularly the one
00:41from Liam Cullen?
00:42Yes, absolutely superb. It looked superb in real time. I haven't seen it back. I'm sure
00:47it's going to look even better then, but yes, we need that. We're going to need players
00:50to step up and I think Nick has come over and he's been excellent. He's been really,
00:54really good and I'm feeling for him that he's made that save.
00:57After all the drama, you could so easily have just nicked it right at the end there as well.
01:00Yes, I think if we had, it probably wouldn't have been deserved, but yes, we did nearly
01:05nick it playing sensible football. We hit Connor from being a bit more direct. He won
01:12his own second ball and we nearly threw. On another day that goes in, did we deserve it?
01:18Probably not, but I think on effort and endeavour and just the sheer frustration of what it's
01:24been like this week, I think it was really difficult to come here and sustain what we
01:27tried to do. We looked fresh in the first half. The second half, we looked like a side
01:31that hadn't played for three weeks and those are a few things that we're hopefully going
01:35to get over now going into the home games next week.
01:37How's Marco Mane?
01:38He took a knock to his hip, so I don't know, he just didn't look... I signalled over and
01:44said, are you OK? He said he was fine and I saw him run for about another 10 yards.
01:47I knew he wasn't, so we had the sub ready. I thought it was obviously a shame for him.
01:53I don't know, I think he's not too bad, but he's taken a whack to the hip.
01:56Any news with Kassim Yengi as yet?
01:57No, nothing yet. He's in with a specialist on Friday. I haven't spoken to Steve about
02:04it. There may be an update, but we'll speak after and I'll give you a full update on Wednesday.
02:09Do you feel like you're learning lessons when you come to places like the Champions League
02:12and improving as a side and how to deal with... you know they're going to have times of possession,
02:16you're going to have moments of dominance. Do you feel your team is learning and dealing with them?
02:20Yes, I think that we've dealt with a really, really good Swansea side for 46 of the 47
02:27minutes and 47 of the 48 minutes of the first half. I'm really, really frustrated with the
02:32way that we conceded the goal. Not the cross and not the fact that it's gone in. The fact
02:35that we just overplayed after going 2-0 up. One minute to go is for half-time. I couldn't
02:40fathom what we were thinking and then we get picked off and Swansea score. The only time
02:44we did it in half. So, these are the lessons we've got to learn. We've got to learn a bit
02:48better. We want to play a bit more football if we possibly can, but this side is pressed
02:52really well with excellent athletes. So, we have to be wary of that and we have to make
02:56sure we play to our strengths. When we did, we looked a really good side. When we didn't,
02:59we looked a bit poor. We've got to try and have a lot more of the form.
03:05Thanks Joel.
03:06Cheers Andy.
