00:00Today, we once again witnessed the Christmas spirit of the National Artist Alice Reyes in Malacanang.

00:06The importance of Christmas was also given by the ballet to the music of the National Artist Ryan Cayabyab.

00:15That's the center of the news of Bian Manalo, live, Bian.

00:20Mela, it's been 24 days since Christmas.

00:23Christmas is all around here in Malacanang, Panasa.

00:27And just a while ago, Mela started the opening ceremony of the Pre-Christmas Tree Lighting in Kalayaan Grounds.

00:35Thousands of students from various schools in Metro Manila and nearby provinces came to celebrate Christmas.

00:44Alice Reyes Dance Philippines was honored by our National Artist for Dance, Alice Reyes,

00:50with the music of the National Artist for Music, Ryan Cayabyab.

00:54Her goal is to instill the importance of the Christmas spirit that was brought to life by the ballet.

01:03My experience here is really, really good.

01:06So, in the ballet, I really liked it because my sister also dances and also I felt the spirit of Christmas.

01:18The performance of the people who performed on the stage was so beautiful.

01:22It was so beautiful. They made me so proud.

01:25We will also find out later who will win a star, a smile, in Year 3.

01:31This is the Nationwide Lantern Making Contest from various state colleges and universities in the country.

01:37This is a project of the Office of the President and the Social Secretary's Office

01:41that aims to promote the unparalleled craftsmanship and craftsmanship of Filipinos through the craftsmanship of languages.

01:51The first-placers will receive P1M, P500,000 for the second-placers, and P250,000 for the third-placers.

02:00They will also receive a laptop showcase and a mobile phone showcase.

02:05Later this afternoon, President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. will lead the gift-giving and Christmas re-lighting

02:14where he expects 200 gifts from the cultural and the arts sectors, including the students who will attend the program.
