00:00A hold-up in a minor's home in Manila.

00:03The victims are also a group of young people.

00:06EJ Gomez exclusively caught on camera.

00:12In the CCTV footage in Barangay 306, Quiapo, Manila,

00:16five young people are seen talking.

00:19But the boy in the red T-shirt is already being held up.

00:23Before the hold-up, the CCTV footage also shows

00:26the chase of four suspects and a 14-year-old victim.

00:30They also caught the actual theft of the victim's money

00:33which amounts to P600.

00:36And they ran away.

00:39The victim was just wiped clean.

00:42After buying from the victim's store,

00:44he was not caught by the four minors

00:47until the shopkeepers noticed.

00:50Why did you kidnap me?

00:52The children were taken to the barangay.

00:55Who are the victims?

00:57The children who are walking around with money.

01:02They are already stealing.

01:04We were just told to take the money

01:08so that we can buy food.

01:10A gun was confiscated that was used to threaten the victim.

01:14The barangay's captain said

01:16that the children know that they will not be jailed

01:18for committing a crime.

01:20The so-called minors,

01:22the minor offenders in our barangay,

01:25they are aware that since they are young,

01:27they will not be easily jailed.

01:29The parents of the victims in the incident

01:32were already facing charges

01:33and the stolen money was returned.

01:35The child offenders also agreed

01:36to join the community service

01:38as an intervention.

01:40This is according to the regulations

01:41of Republic Act 9344

01:43or Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act.
