A motorcyclist narrowly escaped death after being thrown into a river following an accident involving his wife and child on the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH) on Sunday (Dec 1).

00:16Senior Fire Officer 2 Zainal Abidin Yusof, the operation's commander, reported that
00:21they received a call about the incident at 1.26 pm.
00:25Ten personnel from the Keramat Fire and Rescue Station were immediately dispatched to the
00:30scene.
00:31The accident involved a Honda RS 150 motorcycle carrying three individuals, a man, a woman
00:38and a young girl.
00:40The motorcyclist, a local man, was thrown into the river beneath the highway.
00:45Fortunately, firefighters and members of the public successfully rescued the victim.
00:51He sustained a broken right leg, while his wife and daughter suffered minor injuries
00:56and received initial treatment.
00:58All three were transported to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for further medical care.
01:03The case has been handed over to the police for further investigation.
