00:10Cheras OCPD Assistant Commissioner Aidil Bolhasan said the 50-year-old suspect was arrested
00:16at 6 p.m. in Taman Kinrara, Puchong, on the same day.
00:21He said the man admitted to being involved in the incident and revealed there had been
00:25an argument between him and his wife while they were on their way home.
00:29Initial investigations revealed the suspect tested positive for drugs and has prior records
00:35for both criminal and drug-related offences.
00:38The 44-year-old victim was reportedly thrown out of the van around 2.30 p.m. near the
00:44Awan Besar R&R complex.
00:48Witnesses said the vehicle sped off after the incident.
00:51The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
00:54The couple had reportedly been married for 20 years and have two children.
00:58The case is being investigated under Section 304 of the Penal Code for Causing Death by Negligence.
01:06Authorities are continuing their probe and are gathering statements from additional witnesses.
