00:00Through the rest of Sunday, that area of showers across parts of Scotland pushes its way eastwards,
00:05meaning most places might see a bit of a downpour as we head through Sunday night and into the
00:09start of Monday. Perhaps a few clear spells across southern areas into the early hours
00:13of Monday morning, but almost anywhere could see a downpour to start the day. Across parts
00:17of Scotland, we see some showers feeding in across the north, these turning increasingly
00:21to sleet and snow, particularly over any high ground to start on Monday morning. And with
00:25some northerly winds across the northern half of the UK, definitely feeling colder overnight,
00:29temperatures dropping here down into the low single figures. And further south, a little
00:33bit cooler still, around 6 or 7 degrees compared to the weekend. So for most of us, it will
00:38be a bit of a chillier start to the day on Monday, perhaps some frost and maybe some
00:42ice locally in places across parts of Scotland. But quite a cloudy start here, and area showers
00:47across parts of southern Scotland, northern England pushes its way south and eastwards
00:51as we go towards the afternoon. But the further south and further west you are, generally
00:54staying that little bit drier, plenty of sunshine through the afternoon. And those wintry showers
00:59do continue across parts of Scotland through the afternoon. But with northerly winds across
01:03all of the UK, it will be feeling much colder than we saw over the weekend. Temperatures
01:08generally closer to average for the time of year, around 9, 10, perhaps 11 degrees across
01:12the south, and low single figures further north, only 5 or 6 degrees. But across those
01:16eastern coasts, we've got a very brisk northerly breeze, so that will make it feel even colder
01:21still here. As we then go through Monday evening, that area of showers across southern and eastern
01:26parts of England pushes away towards the southeast, so it should generally be turning
01:29drier for most of us overnight. But with clear spells, northerly winds, particularly along
01:33those eastern coasts, it will be feeling really quite chilly to start the day on Tuesday.
01:38Quite a widespread frost likely. However, wet weather is waiting in the wings as we
01:42head through Tuesday and Wednesday, bringing us that milder air, but it could cause some
01:45disruption in places. So do make sure you subscribe to our YouTube channel to keep up
