00:00My name's Bonnie Dyson. I used to be senior nurse here at West Cornwall Hospital.
00:06Prior to that I was sister on one of the wards, surgical.
00:10Had good times here, very good, enjoyable times.
00:14And the hospital itself has needed what we're doing now, I think, to ensure its future.
00:21What we don't want to do is put it in a position where there won't be a hospital in West Cornwall or in Penzance.
00:28And I think this is great.
00:30Looked around the building today.
00:33It's very hard to imagine a building when it's just a building site.
00:37But it is, and will be, I think, a positive move for Penzance.
00:42When I worked here there was always discussion about moving so many of our facilities to St Michael's.
00:48And to me it would have been awful.
00:50And I'm glad they didn't. I'm glad they didn't.
00:52Although St Michael's is important, this is important too.
00:56Good luck to it. I hope you all will be well.
00:58I look forward to seeing the finished product.
