00:00The turnovers that we had on offense are, you know, once a tip, pick, I mean, it's really just them making a play.
00:06You know, Hayward got his hands up, made a play, we had the strip sack, you know, so Joe's never going to see that coming from behind him.
00:14And then the other one, again, kind of came from behind him and TJ got the ball out.
00:17So, but in these games, that's what it comes down to.
00:20So I think it's three to one in the turnover battle.
00:22And when it's a one score game, it's as simple as that.
00:24So we've got to find more ways to create turnovers.
00:26I know guys were trying, I know guys were trying to rip it out.
00:28But we've got to find a way to do it.
00:31How disappointing was the tackling today coming off of a lie?
00:36I mean, any time, you know, I'm not going to say they gave up 44, you give up 37 points.
00:41We've just got to find ways to get stops.
00:43And that starts with tackling and, you know, credit to their offense.
00:46I thought they did a great job. I thought Arthur had a great plan.
00:48They executed it, kept us off balance, kept themselves in manageable, really manageable second downs.
00:54And, man, that shows by the score.
00:57Did you feel like the effort was where it needed to be in the tackling situation?
01:00Yeah, I don't question the effort.
01:02You know, we just got to get guys on the ground.
01:03Because there was great examples at times of guys hitting and making tackles.
01:09But again, overall, the consistency of it wasn't good enough.
01:13Do you feel like the message is still getting through from coaching staff
01:17to players at this point on defense?
01:19I do, because you're seeing moments
01:22where they're getting us back in the game.
01:25It's in the second half.
01:26Sometimes it's too little, too late.
01:28We're still having our opportunities there.
01:30But again, we've got good leadership on that side, guys I trust,
01:33guys that it means a lot to them.
01:36And so, again, at this point, we're counting on everybody to stick together
01:40and find a way to make some plays to get us some wins.
01:42What kind of conversations are you having with Lou on the sideline
01:45when you're obviously trying to scheme whatever possible to get them to stop?
01:51What are those discussions?
01:52Yeah, just trying to help where I can.
01:53What I'm seeing from their offense and things
01:55that they may be looking for from our defense,
01:58trying to give them any help.
01:59But again, those guys have prepared for many seasons
02:03and done a great job for us.
02:05And so just because times are tough doesn't mean you got to change
02:09the whole thing on the fly.
02:10So I still got a lot of trust in those guys,
02:13and we just got to figure out a way to get some stops.
02:15Zach, they had 518 total yards and the 37 points
02:19that you brought up there most of the season.
02:21I saw Jordan Battle was getting a lot more reps at safety.
02:24Are there any other considerations maybe for moves
02:27with different players in there after the game?
02:29I mean, every single week we've been here.
02:31We're trying to put the right people in position to win the game.
02:36What is your message to the team after a game like this?
02:38Stick together. Take accountability.
02:40We got good people in the locker room.
02:42And, you know, it's an emotional game,
02:45you know, especially in a divisional game like this,
02:47especially with where we're at in the season.
02:49You know, I think it's normal for emotions to run high,
02:51but at the same time,
02:53we just got to take accountability for anything we can
02:55and stick together and find a way to go find a win.
02:59You know, we just got to get ourselves some momentum.
03:00That's three games in a row now
03:02that have all been one-possession games.
03:05We haven't done enough to earn the win.
03:06It's as simple as that.
03:07It's nobody else's fault but our own.
03:09We haven't earned it.
03:10And so now there's still opportunity in front of us
03:13to get some momentum for ourselves.
03:14I don't know what the outlook is for the season,
03:16but I know that we're Monday night football at Dallas Cowboys,
03:18and I expect our guys to respond the right way,
03:21you know, and have a great week and get ready to go
03:23and find a way to get on a winning streak
03:25instead of, you know, being on this three-game
03:26losing streak we've been on.
