San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, Caring Keri Foundation founder Keri Zamora, SM Supermalls Vice President Grace Magno, designer Zarah Juan, along with SPARK! Philippines and the BJMP San Juan City Jail launch the Barong Project at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City on Monday, Dec. 2.

This initiative creatively upcycles used Barong Tagalog garments into intricate Christmas decorations. The project empowers Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) by fostering skills development, promoting sustainability, and encouraging creative expression. (MB video by Mark Balmores)
